6986274 Driver Cyril Knighton of 299 General Transport Company, Royal Army Service Corps, died on the 24th June 1944. He was 20 years old, the son of Samuel Knighton and of Mary E Knighton, of Awsworth, Nottinghamshire. He is buried in Hermanville War Cemetery in France.
