13059071 Pte Samuel G Straiton, Pioneer Corps

13059071 Private Samuel George Straiton of the Pioneer Corps, died on the 21st June 1945. He was 31 years old, the son of James Scott Straiton and Margaret Allen Straiton, and the husband of Beatrice May Straiton, of Newbury, Berkshire. He died in Holland and is buried in the Almelo General Cemetery in Overijssel. He is one of 19 Commonwealth dead buried there.
