Remembering the men and women of the British Commonwealth who lost their lives during the Second World War 1939-1945. Please feel free to contact me and suggest a name for inclusion on this WW2 remembrance blog.
Research 1939-1945
The majority of records from 1920 onwards are still with the Ministry of Defence and so individuals researching servicemen and women from 1920 are advised to contact the MoD first.
For everything else, please drop me a line. I offer a quick and cost-effective research service and will respond to most enquiries around within 48 hours.
It won't cost you the odds either. A full report costs under £50. Here's how it works:
1. Drop a line to paulcanixon@gmail.com telling me what you need help with.
2. If possible, please give the man's full name, regiment and regimental number.
3. I will respond to your enquiry by return, giving you a cost for the service
If I don't think I can add anything I will tell you, but if I can find out more information, I'll be happy to pass this on.
