4699306 Private Leslie Varey Barham of the 9th Battalion, King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, and a resident of Huddersfield in Yorkshire, died on the 15th August 1944. He is buried in the Anzio War Cemetery in Italy.

318096 Sergeant Thomas Tighe of the 9th (The Queen's Own Yorkshire Dragoons) Battalion, King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, died on the 11th February 1944. He was 23 years old and the son of Brian Joseph and Emily Amelia Tighe of Goole, Yorkshire. He is buried in the El Alia cemetery in Algeria.

4694120 Private Harry Moore of the 1/4th Battalion, King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, died in Iceland on the 21st January 1942. Harry was a Yorkshireman, born in Leeds, and was 26 years old when he died.
He was one of a platoon of men men who died when they were hiking in the mountains around Reydarfjordur and got lost in a sudden winter storm. Forty-eight men survived, but Harry was one of eight men who did not. The other men who died are:
