1782273 Gnr Cyril Munnock of the Royal Artillery, died on the 12th May 1942. He was born in County Durham but living in Yorkshire when he enlisted. Cyril was 21years old when he died. He was serving with the 3/2 Maritime Regiment and is commemorated on the Portsmouth Naval Memorial.

3973373 Lance-Bombardier Leslie Horobin of the 3/2 Maritime Regiment, Royal Artillery, died at sea on the 10th May 1941. He was 20 years old, the son of Son of Joseph H and Harriet Ann Horobin of Longnor, Staffordshire. He is commemorated on the Portsmouth Naval Memorial.

3962118 Sgt Dennis Alfred Hicks, Royal Artillery

3962118 Sergeant Dennis Alfred Hicks of the 3/2nd Maritime Regiment, Royal Artillery, died at sea on the 24th September 1915. He was the son of Lily Hicks of Newport, Monmouthshire and the UK Army Roll of Honour shows that he was born in Monmouth and living there when he enlisted.

Dennis Hocks was 20 years old when he died and he is commemorated on panel 72, column 1 of the Portsmouth Naval Memorial. The memorial commemorates 24,586 men, nearly 15,000 of whom are Second World War casualties.
