Staffordshire-born 1416589 Pte Eric Sydney Kelsall of the Corps of Military Police, died in England on the 23rd February 1943. He was 46 years old, the son of Sydney and Emily Ann Kelsall, and the husband of Violet Emily Kelsall, of Cliftonville, Kent. The UK Army Roll of Honour notes that his place of residence was Middlesex.
Eric Kelsall served with the Royal Garrison Artillery and Royal Engineers during the First World War, arriving overseas in August 1915. He is buried in Norwich Cemetery in Norfolk.
