7874428 S/Sgt John Dobie, RAOC

7874428 Staff Sergeant John Dobie of 18 Ordnance Workshop, the Royal Army Ordnance Corps, died at sea on the 13th July 1942. He was 40 years old, the son of Walter and Agnes Dobie, and the husband of Marjorie Dobie of Sheffield. He is commemorated on panel 18 of the Brookwood Memorial in Surrey.

At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, WE WILL REMEMBER THEM.
