1137989 Gunner Harry Farrington of the Royal Artillery, died on the 9th July 1942. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission records his unit as 87 (7th [Haytor] Battalion, The Devonshire Regiment, Anti-Tank Regiment, RA.
Harry was the son of George and Annie Farrington of Shifnal. He is buried in Shifnal's St Andrew's Churchyard.
