W/29277 Sub-Leader Iris Forbes Knapton, Auxiliary Territorial Service

W/29277 Sub-Leader Iris Forbes Knapton of the Auxiliary Territorial Service, died in England on the 27th March 1940. Iris, the daughter of Lieutenant-Colonel H A F Knapton (formerly of the Indian Medical Service and the 90th Punjabis during World war One) and Mrs Knapton of Lynton in Devon, had been born in India. She was 30 years old when she died and she is buried in Lynton Cemetery.
