4859972 Lance-Sergeant Douglas David Spence of the 2/5th Leicestershire Regiment died in North Africa on the 18th March 1943. He was 24 years old, the son of Tom and Elizabeth Spence of Narborough, Leicestershire. He is buried in Tabarka Ras Rajel War Cemetery in Tunisia.
