Today marks the seventieth death anniversary of 7374015 Private Kenneth Laycock of the Royal Army Medical Corps. He was born in Bradford and was living there when he enlisted. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission notes that he was serving with the 197th Field Ambulance at the time of his death and that he is commemorated on the Singapore Memorial.
