3660951 Pte Herbert Hallard, 2nd Bn, HLI

3660951 Private Herbert Hallard of the 2nd Battalion, Highland Light Infantry gave his life for his King and Country on the 2nd December 1944. He was 27 years old, the son of Herbert and Florence Hallard and the husband of Adelaide Hallard, of Gorton, Manchester. He is buried in Krakow's Rakowicki Cemetery.

At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, WE WILL REMEMBER THEM.
