1086577 Gunner Stanley Harold Sheppard of the 8th Field Regiment, Royal Artillery died on the 1st December 1941. He was 29 years old and the son of Harold William and Harriet Ada Sheppard, of Walkern, Hertfordshire. He is commemorated on the Alamein Memorial.
