609627 Pte Frederick George Dowdy of the 2/5th Battalion, Queen's Royal Regiment (West Surrey), died on the 29th October 1943. He was 29 years old, the son of Thomas and Annie Dowdy, of Guilden Morden, Hertfordshire. He is buried in the Minturno War Cemetery in Italy.
