952784 Bombardier Edmund Boardley Doran of 24 Field Regiment, Royal Artillery, died on the 31st May 1944 in Italy. He was 27 years old, the son of John and Hannah Doran and the husband of Elsie Doran, of Blackpool, Lancashire. Edmund was born in Walsall but living in Blackpool when he enlisted. He is buried in the Beach Head War Cemetery at Anzio.
