52363 Lt Edward Nutley, 2nd Bn, DLI

52363 Lieutenant Edward Nutley of the 2nd Battalion, Durham Light Infantry, died at Dunkirk on the 25th May 1940. He was 30 years old, the son of Edward and Mary Nutley, and the husband of Mary Caroline Nutley of Newcastle-on-Tyne. He was a Bachelor of Science (Dunelm).

Lieutenant Nutley has no known grave and is one of 4506 names commemorated on the Dunkirk Memorial in France.

At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, WE WILL REMEMBER THEM.
