2323426 Signalman Tom H Halstead, Royal Corps of Signals

2323426 Signalman Tom Heap Halstead of the Hong Kong Signal Company, Royal Corps of Signals, died on the 29th August 1942. He was born in Australia but living at Blackburn, Lancashire when he enlisted. He was 23 years old, the son of Walter and Lucy Taylor Halstead, of Stoneyholme, Burnley, Lancashire. He is buried in Sai Wan War Cemetery in Hong Kong.

At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, WE WILL REMEMBER THEM.
