3962022 Gnr Harry Cleaver, RA

According to the UK Army Roll of Honour, 3962022 Gnr Harry Cleaver of the Royal Artillery, originally joined the Welch Regiment, later transferring to the 4th Field Regiment, RA. He was a Welshman, born and bred in Cardiff, who lost his life in the Far East campaign in India and Burma. He was 24 years old, the son of Alfred Henry and Annie Rebecca Cleaver of Ely, Cardiff. He is buried in the Imphal War Cemetery in India.
