Major Vivian Alexander Chiodetti of the 2nd Battalion, Manchester Regiment, but attached to the 3rd Burma Rifles, died on the 17th January 1942 whilst on active service in Burma. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Rangoon Memorial in the Taukkyan War Cemetery in Rangoon.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, WE WILL REMEMBER THEM.
