6985143 Fusilier Edward Mooney of the 2nd Battalion, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, died on the 18th January 1944. He was one of 185 British soldiers to die on this date.
Edward was born in Londonderry and was 21 years old when he died. He has no known grave and is commemorated on panel six of the Cassino Memorial in Italy.
