6699 Col Reginald Gordon Pulteney Hunter OBE, RE

Fifty-six year-old 6699 Colonel Reginald Gordon Pulteney Hunter OBE of the Royal Engineers, died on the 11th January 1940 in Malta. He was the son of Major General Woodburn Hunter and Marion Hunter and had served with the Royal Engineers during WW1 when he was twice Mentioned in Dispatches. He is buried in Pieta Military Cemetery.

At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, WE WILL REMEMBER THEM.
