5823510 Sergeant William Edward Tunmore of the 4th Battalion, Suffolk Regiment, died on the 14th January 1944. He was 35 years old, the son of William Edward and Rosa Tunmore of Ipswich, Suffolk, and the husband of Hilda May Tunmore, of Ipswich. He is one of nearly 4,000 Commonwealth war dead buried in Kranji War Cemetery in Singapore.
